If you are over fifty years you will notice that doctors of today generally seem to be less concerned with the patient’s personal state of mind as they are with their medical and psychological conditions in general. In the forties the physicals would take time to get a fell for the psychological state in which the patient comes to him and then try to diagnose the medical and physical condition they may have. It is well recorded that stress and tension can be the precursor to most medical problems.  But the determination of a patient’s mental state takes much more time than the easy give him or her a cure all pill or special procedure! Can a Doctor really treat you if they show very little interest in the whole patient??

The most recent records show that medical Doctors are the third leading cause of deaths in the USA!! They are attributed to about 35,000 patients per year. Hospitals are credited with about 100,000 deaths pre year. Because of the present “Industrial Medical      Complex” run by the Medical Insurance Industry doctors must make their money by the volume of patients they can see. With the present major role of “The Medical Insurnce Industry Complex” medicine has become a money making machine! (UWE E. REINHARDT, How Much Money Do Insurance Companies Make? A Primer, Today’s Economist, September 25, 2009) this make the time of a Patient with the doctor out ten to fifteen minutes per visit!!  Today’s doctors are no mover than the “medical traffic directors” of patient’s treatments!!! (48,000+ die of preventable hospital deaths, (UPI),   Feb. 23, 2010) (In Hostipal Deaths from Medical Errors at 195,000+ per Year USA, Medical News Today, 09 Aug 2004)

The number to cause of patiets deaths in the US is Pharmaceuticals! (ACinMA , #2 Cause of US Deaths: Pharmaceuticals, Daily Paul Liberty Forum,  12/11/2010) The rates of unintentional poisoning– from prescription in the U.S. has surpassed motor vehicle crashes as the leading cause of unintentional injury, death (Health Team, Documentary reveals the unhealthy profits of the pharmaceutical industry, The Bureau of Investigative Journalism, August 11th, 2010) All of this demonstrates that patenets must be aware and involved in their medical dianosis and treatment.

Reports show that, Yes, the  lack of knowledge can literally kill you, with the help of others no doubt.

·        42% of people believed they had personally experienced a medical mistake (NPSF survey)

·        44,000 to 98,000 deaths annually from medical errors (Institute of Medicine)

·         225,000 deaths annually from medical errors including 106,000 deaths due to "nonerror adverse events of medications" (Starfield)

·        180,000 deaths annually from medication errors and adverse reactions (Holland)

·        20,000 annually to 88,000 deaths annually from nosocomial infections 2.9 to 3.7 percent of hospitalizations leading to adverse medication reactions 7,391 deaths resulted from medication errors

·        (Institute of Medicine) 2.4 to 3.6 percent of hospital admissions were due to (prescription) medication events (Australian study)

 

Moreover, when a doctor says hat they have a procedure that they would like you to endur the patient must try to drtermine if they really need to participate as a long suffering patient. This is especially true if the physician has shown very little interest in their whole personal condition! This surely shows that an ignorant preson in todays world of knowledge may as well be dead!

                                              

MEDICAL DISESTER WITH SCRUGGS DOWN!!

March 19, 2013, the day that will live in my memory forever. On this mooring I went to the bathroom with dirtier and on the way back to my favorite chair I slipped and fell in my own leavings! I ended up hitting my head on the floor and landing in front of my chair. It felt like my headed was a watermelon as I hit with a fluid like clunk!! I could not get up and in my haze started to look for a phone. After a long (short) agonizing time I saw the phone just under the chair and managed to dial 911 and my daughter, Valerie!!

911 sent an ambulance, which came to the front door, which was locked. I managed to tell them to come in through the garage door. The next thing I remember was coming too in the emergency room of the Tallahassee Community Hospital. I could not speak nor think very clearly. I again passed out and when coming too again I remember that my daughter was there. My mind was going from one vision to another and I was unable to distinguish between being awake or dreaming. I was tied to the bed with straps on both hands. There was a tube (catcher) in my neck and another one inch from my heart--- so I was told or over heard from the staff talking to each other. Every time I was given something through these Cathers I became delusional and was seeing things of great indignation. 

I must say before I go any further that my daughters were my salvation. My third daughter was especially attentive. She moved to Tallahassee from Lakeland, which was about 300 miles down state Florida to take care of me. She made my day. I was always looking for her visit during each day. I ma very careful to say that all my daughters did what they could. The God of my world certainly acted through her. If there were any depressing things that happened to me, my family’s efforts more than made up for these bad things!! That being said I must record my experiences through my eyes, both good and bad!

“Code Blue!!!” and everything went away. Then everything came back. But the clocks were minutes ahead my last look!! There were nurses and doctors bending ove my bed. I was laying there trying to get my bareings! Some one was saying, “What’s your name?? How old are you?? How many fingers do you see??” Then the crowd went away!!!

It was some time later and darkness spread upon my that entire mind could perceive. There was a voice piecing through the abyss saying, “ Count too three and open the door at the light.” There was in front of my minds perception a doorknob with a bright light behind a door, which was closed. I started to count “…1….2…. 2.1…2.3…..2.4….” The voice came again saying you must count using whole numbers. I therefore started to count again “…1….2….2.1…2.4…2.5…” Suddenly there was a voice saying Dad you have got to wake up and a soft warm hand was shaking my shoulder. They said again, “Dad! You got to wake up!!” I stopped all I was doing and lay quietly for what seemed to be an eternity. I finally said, “I am using my last energy. My synapses and neurons are firing. Sylvia get me out of here they are killing me!!!”

I passed out again and when I woke up again I was in another place and they staff was trying to weigh me in a sling. Sylvia was there and I said out loud, “Sylvia get me out of here the staff are gay and one was assuring me that he was not HIV infected.” This man was what is called a “Flaming Homosexual.” He was switching and popping/smacking his lips making a nasty smacking sound. I passed out again and upon waking again I was back at the ICU in the Emergency Room. A doctor was saying in the background,.” “There is no way I can get eighty pounds of fluid off this man!!” I had a Catcher in both my throat and my arm running one inch from my heart. A voice was saying we must get a tracheotomy done!! I again got up enough energy to say, “Hell no …no traykeeotomy! Sylvia pleases!!” I passed out again and when I came too again I was in a place called “Select” which was a medical recovery center. It was again a stroke of luck for me.

All this time the CNA was pressing something call a “K pack” over my face. It was a source of oxygen. But they were hurting me by miss-applying this contraption. There was a practically aggressive man, six ft 5ins tall holding me down and maintaining this mask on my face. The mask was cutting into my hose and forehead. Blood was running into my eyes and my nose was broken. The man was saying, “I am here to help you just be still and take this …” I summoned up as much energy as I could and kicked him off me screaming and kicking. I refused to stop until this man was removed from the room. Finally another staff member came in and allowed me to assist in getting the oxygen K-Pack on. But by now my face was paining and bleeding.

            There are many questions that are vulnerable to answers from someone! However, more importantly there are immersing answers for questions that America does not want to hear the answers and no one is brave enough to provide face.

For example;

1.     Answer: Florida has been without a Lt. Governor for about a year, which indicates that this position is not really needed. Question: Why, was the position of Lt. Governor, which was held by a Black female, who was vacated with malice, left empty for one year?

 

2.      Answer: Americans well vote against their best interest if a well-financed campaign with a lot of money is waged this would convenience the voter that he can be reelected as Governor. Question: Why does Governor Scott think that he can be reelected as Governor in 2014?

3.      Answer: The Republican Tea Party group is working hard with “excessive entanglement“ to assure that Obama is not successful in anything he proposes because he is Black. Question: Why are the Republicans voting down all proposals of the Obama administration?

4.      Answer: Americans are so dedicated to the predatory, criminal, exporting Capitalism practiced in America because they are taught that any form of capitalism is best as an economic institution in the world and further that capitalism is a natural law of the universe. Question: Why does the American voters feel that it’s capitalism must not be regulated?

5.      Answer: The institution of criminal justice acts to destroy the lives of Blacks in a disproportional manner mainly because of racism in American culture? Question: Why are there so many Blacks in prison? Are Blacks innately criminals?

6.      Answer: Although Governor Scott, who is alleged to be one of the worst governors in the history of Florida and shows very little evidence of the value of the citizens, he thinks that the voters can be convinced to vote ageist their best interest by the money of a devious campaign. Question: Why does Governor Scott feel that he can be re-elected governor?

7.      Answer: The Republican Tea Party feel so hostile toward educated leaders/people because they are looking for simple answers that fit their bias prejudices against race, sex, homosexuals, and different ethic groups. Question: Why do the Tea party groups fight against science, and other logic answers to questions?

 

There are so many important answers for which questions are not being asked. Do you wonder why?

VOICES FOR THE EMPLOTMENT OF APPLICANTS WITH ARREST RECORDS!

 

 

All of us who are unable to get employment due to having a police record of misdemeanors, citations, etc need to find how to get an employer to avoid the quick and/or knee-jerk action of exclusion. I personally know of six Black Boys of family and four friends that have automatic police citations of “victimless” infractions have graduated from college and cannot get employment because they have police records. These are but six of millions of boys in this predicament.

What is needed is an accepted employer policy and procedure of conducting an acceptable and easy action of a review or discovery of the substance, character, and circumstances of these unfortunate but potentially good applicants/employees for employment by:

 

1. Conducting an interview with the applicant,
2. Getting a history of the record(s) (conducting a discovery) to determine the seriousness and accuracy of the record.
3. Determination of the date(s) and severity of the police recording plus the term and status of any plea-bargain probation(s).

 

It would be helpful if those who have the experiences of being refused or released from employment because of a policy of employers to automatically take actions of denial and/or release, a central “help” resource must be pursued. This communication suggests and offers a central source to record and get information to fellow applicants with records. You must realize that this is not an individual problem. It is a pervasive universal problem of millions of Americans who have had problems and are now trying unsuccessfully to join the legitimate labor market. The denial of employment is the reason for employment most people, who have records, turn to unlawful activities after they have paid their debt to society.

THE BLACK “ME GENERATION” A FATILITY OF CIVIL NEGLECT

Today I was reading a very interesting and revealing article in the “Gantt Report!” It was providing some insight into this generation of young people. The article called them “The Me Generation.” This generation proceeding the era of active rights demonstrations appear to take little notice or interest in things other than those that of a personal quality. dads or moms home for free The “Me Generation” spend their time chilling, “X boxing,” shopping for such personal things as sneakers ($200.00 to $400.00 a pair/pop), mobil/cell phones, making “booty” calls, and being caught up by “Black Boy” round-ups, etc. When asked about discrimination (i.e. sex, race, ethnic) or civil and political issues they look at you as if you were some alien force taking up their valuable time! They may say, “That is old time. There is none of that now.” It is peculiar when you are looking at and talking to college graduates, who are unemployed, in fact never had more than a temporary job without benefits, and still living in their dad’s and mom’s home!!

            This started us to look for factors that have brought our children to this point. There seem to be several factors that come to mind.

 

1. Although our generation was having its problems over discrimination in education, getting jobs, promotion on the job, and just living while Black, we kept this from our children in order to spare them the stress of such a condition. We though that the next generation would have it somewhat better.
2.  This bit of living history was essentially kept from our children in our integrated institutions of education and so forth. Among the four families we know personally that had children (there were at least 12children considered) and having finished college, not one Black male had found permanent employment. They had all the ambitions and needs of any mature male but none of the working priviledges to support their needs.
3. Too many Black Religious Leaders have become “Predatory Vulture Capitalist” “Civil Rights Pimps” using the beliefs of Religion as leverage to good living and wealth while surpressing the facts!

 

I recall the incident when a cross was burned on my front lawn in Connecticut in the sixties, Instead of calling my family to witness this; I sent them to the basement and took a garden hose, put out the fire and placed the cross in the trash. What I should he done is involved the whole family and all took care this burning cross burning followed by a complete explanation of the reason the cross was burning.

In the school system where my children were attending, no Black student had ever graduated and attended college. In fact all the college bound courses were held on the third floor of the High School and no Black student was allowed to go on that floor. I decided to get on the Board of Education and try or change this situation. I was successful and all my daughters attended the college bound courses graduated with honors and attended Yale, Brandice, FAMU, and Taladegia. But again I never explained this to my family and today I am hearing that this condition of disparit treatment is old time and no longer important. They say this as they returned to their room in their family’s home!!            

            Moreover, clean non violent (submissive) view of desperate (racist) treatment is the mind set that the white institutions have provided our youth. They can ride the bus and sit anywhere, buy things of pleasure, but presently they do not have the resources to participte because of the continual lack of excess to resources! Presently 40 % of Black Boys are on lock down or probation, 70% have only temporary employment and not even aware of why. The facts suggest that Black “Me Generation” Boys are still subject to discrimination because of plain old ignorance.        

            Finally, These “Me Generation” Black Boys must be looked at as willing members of a classic “Cult!” They will have to be deprogrammed using a severe discrepant event of a medical or psycholocal nature nearing demise. Followed by a reprogramming using aggressive douses of truth and good information.

            As long as a people allow their oppressors to provide them their history they will always be slaves. Yes. the conditions of oppression remains today, however, it is disguised and institutionalzed for the consumption of the disenfranchised!

I  am not getteng married nor am I having a baby, But my resent recovery and REBIRTH has prensented me with the opportunity to make a new and better shot at the few years I may have left (after age 82). I think that I should be very happy if for my rebirth I should receive/presented for Christmas an item from the list of gifts that could make my new life easier:

1. Electric Pressure cooker
2.  Bread maker
3.  Bathroom Scales 
4. Deep frier
5. Ice Cream maker
6. Flat Wear
7. Much Love and understanding

One of the seldom talked about culture of America’s Capitalist System is the acceptance of human an as a part of the profit and production process!! In other words, in the production and/or conduct of an enterprise for profit is human deaths or as it is pleasantly called “Collateral Damage.” Capitalist have calculated that it cost much more to institute safety measures than to pay for any suite that may occur from people that are killed or injured from the work they are assigned to do!

            The history of Capitalism has recorded the following on tha acceptance of death:

1. The Cost Of The Panama Canal: 500 Dead Per Mile (or 48 miles X 500= about 24000 deaths) – Mostly Black Bajans. 
2. Suez Canal -. Lesseps forced hundreds of thousands of Egyptians over a ten-year period of the construction of the Suez Canal. 120,000 slaves died in the projec
3. The Coal Minig Industry records-  Coal According to earlier Xinhua reports, citing safety and mine officials, 4,746 people died in mine accidents in 2006; 3,786 in 2007; 3,214 in 2008 and 2,631 in 2009. Huang said his administration closed 21,200 illegal coalmines and slashed the number of small-scale mining operations from 18,145 to 9,042 over the past five years.
4.  Structural Iron works, how many Structural iron and steel workers die per year? Based on the most recent Bureau of Labor Statistics data, there were 18 annual fatalities for Structural iron and steel workers, or 30.3 deaths per 100,000 full-time equivalent workers.
5. The Oil industry- Injury Research in the Offshore Oil and Gas Extraction Industry- During 2003-2008, 648 oil and gas extraction workers were killed on the job (onshore and offshore, combined), resulting in an annual fatality rate of 29.1 deaths per 100,000 workers, over seven times the rate for all US workers. Nearly 11 percent of the industry’s fatalities occur offshore; during 2003-2008, 69 fatalities occurred among offshore oil and gas extraction workers. With 23.5 deaths for every 100,000 workers, mining places above industrial fishing, forestry, and agriculture.
6. Diamonds-Gold- THIRTY-SIX thousand, mostly Blacks men have been killed in accidents on the gold mines since the beginning of the century. Untold others have died from septicaemia and other diseases contracted as a result of accidental injury. Many more have lost limbs or eyes, or have been otherwise disabled. The annual death toll from accidents on South African mines fluctuates around 800. The figure for i960 was close to 1,400 because of the Coalbrook disaster of January 21. In Britain the number of deaths from mining accidents seldom exceeds 200 a year.
7. Dams- Because large conventional dammed-hydro facilities hold back large volumes of water, a failure due to poor construction, natural disasters or sabotage can be catastrophic to downriver settlements and infrastructure. Dam failures have been some of the largest man-made disasters in history. The Banqiao Dam failure in Southern China directly resulted in the deaths of 26,000 people, and another 145,000 from epidemics. Millions were left homeless. Also, the creation of a dam in a geologically inappropriate location may cause disasters such as 1963 disaster at Vajont Dam in Italy, where almost 2000 people died.  Smaller dams andmicro hydro facilities create less risk, but can form continuing hazards even after being decommissioned. College Graduates have many things working against them after finishing school these days. But there is one thing that is most devastating-the mix of establishing an “living income” balanced with the lack of employment, the payment of school related debts, and the use of receiving unemployment and food stamps!! That is a mouth full and a field of traps and catch twenty-twos!!

            For example, a graduate has many school related loans to repay and is only able to find employment that lasts only around six months at a time. Therefore, they find this employment and upon the job running out they file for unemployment and food stamps, as they have the legal right to do. It takes about four weeks to get the unemployment checks and food stamps started. But upon receiving a check or two, they find another temporary job! They stop the food stamps and unemployment checks but the process leaves them with a check or so and stamps too many. The government sends them a bill for the excess and a check is sent in for payment. In the mean time the student sent a dun/bill labled a “felon” and is fired from his job. The job will not rehire them without a receipt from the government showing they the bill is paid. This receipt takes weeks to be sent and in the mean time the student is with work and cannot look for work because they are listed as a “felon” with a warrant out for their arrest!  Further, these student’s debts have been sold to “professional debt collectors” for pennies on the dollar and they are harassing the graduates night and day.

            Now to add insult to injury, the student is labeled a “felon” and has to look for a job with this on their record! These graduates are literally on the “lamb” so to speak unable to look for employment or stay at home without being in fear of bang put in jail.

            This is a true story and is being played out more times than you would think!!!

OBAMA GETTING ELECTED FOR SECOND TERM IS THE FIRST STEP TO SHOW STRENGTH TO GET LEGISLATION DONE!!

When fellow Americans look at the conditions and nature of our leaders, who have brought us to this crisis, it is obvious that they have no limit to their actions. They are the slash and burn, scorched earth warmongers, who left for the Obama to work with. Further. As a Black man, who is president he is expected to be intelligent, hard working, and not too big for his britches!! He had to show that he knew that the white man was still in charge.

However, in this second term he can show his ability to challenge his white counter parts and at times confront them as an equal adversary. Obama can push back hard because he will not be looking for a third term as President!!

     God willing, When Obama takes the second Oath of Office and walks into the White House what will he find? (CNN News, Biden predicts early crisis will test Obama, Oct 20, 2008)

 When walking up the path to the White House he will not find that the lawn furniture is gone and the lawn is plowed up. The White House door will be already open. On entering the White House, he will find that the carpets are still there and good. In the Oval Office not only will the phone left but also there will be all the legislation that the “NO” party has left to be revisited. The Red Button will be in its socket and the desk will be right side up.

Yes, the federal coffers will be empty and Fort Knox’s gold and silver will be in place. What should be Obama’s first issues be in this history making time?

          In this interim time until January 1, 2013 the critical issues must be Tax Reform, Finance for infrastructure development projects, The Dream Act, Banking reforms, Voting extensions for national elections of Federal Officials and etc!       

 

           

            And alas, the GOP just say NO group will be inhibited from being so open and flagrant in its efforts against Obama just because he is Black!

Romney is right up front with his cold, calculating, inhumane, monetary, distorted views of human society. In his attempt to show his “feeling” for the American citizens caught in this latest natural disaster, “hurricane Sandy, ” he said that this disaster should be taken care of by the responsibility of Private Benevolence, capitalist for profit. In other words Romney would have all national disasters be under the efforts and profits (on a cost ($) plus basis) of the Capitalist Industry. This is to say that disasters as Hurricanes, tornados, floods, earth quakes, tidal waves, raging fires of forest and housing should not be handled by FEMA as a responsibility of the Federal Government. It should be the opportunity of “private for profit industry.” Some of this is already true.

Look at the way the US is using the mercenary corporation of Black Water to fight wars and the use of Halliburton Corporation to supply the logistics, materials and supplies!!

            Yes,Romney sees national chaos and disasters as the ripe opportunity to make profits. Romney is looking forward to “climate change for the disasters it will bring!  Romney said recently in “quite places” that, “The Federal Government should not handle anything that private industry could do for profit, and that all national growth and maintenance should be done by private business (including social security, medical, wars, education, curebcy oriting and distribution, etc)!!”

There was a time not so long ago when Americans, regardless of their political stripes,

rallied round their president. Once elected, the man who won the White House was

no longer viewed as a Republican or Democrat, but the President of the United States.

The oath of office was taken, the wagons were circled around the country€and it’s

borders and it was America versus the rest of the world with the president of all the

people at the helm.

Suddenly President Barack Obama, with the potential to become an exceptional

president has become the glaring exception to that unwritten, patriotic rule.

Four days before President Obama’s inauguration, before he officially took charge of

the American government, Rush Limbaugh boasted publicly that he hoped the president

would fail. Of course, when the president fails the country flounders.

Wishing harm upon your country in order to further your own narrow political views

is selfish, sinister and a tad treasonous as well.

Subsequently, during his State of the Union address, which is pretty much a pep rally

for America, an unknown congressional representative from South Carolina, later

identified as Joe Wilson, stopped the show when he called the President of the United

States a liar. The president showed great restraint in ignoring this unprecedented insult

and carried on with his speech.Speaker Nancy Pelosi was so stunned by the slur, she

forgot to jump to her feet while clapping wildly, 30 or 40 times after that.

Last spring, President Obama took his wife Michelle to see a play in New York City

and republicans attacked him over the cost of security for the excursion. The president

cannot take his wife out to dinner and a show without being scrutinized by the political

opposition? As history has proven, a president in a theatre without adequate security

is a tragically bad idea.Remember: Apart from that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy

the play?

At some point, the treatment of President Obama went from offensive to ugly and then

to downright dangerous.

The health-care debate, which looked more like extreme fighting in a mud pit

than a national dialogue, revealed a very vulgar side of America . President Obama’s

face appeared on protest signs white-faced and blood-mouthed in a satanic clown

image. In other tasteless portrayals, people who disagreed with his position distorted

his face to look like Hitler complete with mustache and swastika.

Odd, that burning the flag makes Americans crazy, but depicting the president as a

clown and a maniacal fascist is accepted as part of the new rude America .

Maligning the image of the leader of the free world is one thing, putting the president's

life in peril is quite another. More than once, men with guns were videotaped at the

health-care rallies where the president spoke. Again, history shows that letting men

with guns get within range of a president has not served America well in the past.

And still the birther’s out there claiming Barack Obama was not born in the United

States, although public documentation proves otherwise. Hawaii is definitely part of
the United States, but the Panama Canal Zone where his electoral opponent Senator

John McCain was born? Nobody cares.

Last month, a 44-year-old woman in Buffalo was quite taken by President Obama

when she met him in a chicken wing restaurant called Duff’s. Did she say something

about a pleasure and an honor to meet the man or utter encouraging words for the

difficult job he is doing? No. Quote: You're a hottie with a smoking little body.

Lady, that was the President of the United States you were addressing, not one of the

Jonas Brothers! He’s your president for goodness sakes, not the guy driving the
Zamboni at Monster Trucks On Ice. Maybe next it'll be, Take Your President To A

Topless Bar Day.

In President Barack Obama, Americans have a charismatic leader with a good and

honest heart. Unlike his predecessor, he’s a very intelligent leader. And unlike that
president’s predecessor, he’s a highly moral man.

In President Obama, Americans have the real deal, the whole package and a leader

that citizens of almost every country around the world look to with great envy. Given
the opportunity, Canadians would trade our leader, hell, most of our leaders for Obama

in a heartbeat.

What America has in Obama is a head of state with vitality and insight and youth. Think

about it, Barack Obama is a young Nelson Mandela. Mandela was the face of change

and charity for all of Africa but he was too old to make it happen. The great things

Obama might do for America and the world could go on for decades after he’s out of

office. America, you know not what you have.

The man is being challenged unfairly, characterized with vulgarity and treated with the

kind of deep disrespect to which no previous president was subjected. It’s like the day

after electing the first black man to be president, thereby electrifying the world with hope
and joy, Americans sobered up and decided the bad old days were better.

President Obama may fail but it will not be a Richard Nixon default fraught with larceny

and lies. President Obama, given a fair chance, will surely succeed but his triumph will

never come with a Bill Clinton caveat if only he'd got control of that zipper.

Please. Give the man a fair, fighting chance. This incivility toward the leader who won over

Americans and gave hope to billions of people around the world that their lives could be

enhanced by his example, just naturally has to stop.

Believe me, when Americans drive by the White House and see a sign on the lawn that reads:

No shirt. No shoes. No service, they'll realize this new mindless national rudeness has gone

way, way too far. And I may realise, sooner rather than later,that I've just wasted my time

writing this.


Ah America - Canada, Leave her to heaven!
